New job at GMANews.tv

After a traumatic stint as editor of four girlie mags late last year, I decided to try my hand playing bass guitar. A pianist friend who plays at Newsdesk, a bar I hang out in, talked me into buying a bass guitar.

I was dead set on jamming with guitarist friend Lyncir Lagunzad, who used to be with the Moonstrucks, until Ruben Manaha, one of the owners of Newsdesk, told me about an opening as section editor for GMANews.tv.

As it turned out, one of the top people there was Malou Mangahas, who used to be my boss at The Manila Times, when it was still owned by the Gokongweis. And I also acquainted with Joe Torres who heads the web team. In short, I found myself another job. Or another job finally found me.
