New line of work at ABC 5

It’s a bit of a leap from print to television journalism. I’ve been in print media for 18 years, since March 1986, before I got a job as a segment producer for Secrets, a new show hosted by Juliana Palermo over at ABC 5.

  

It’s really interesting work no matter what critics of the boob tube might say against it. 

But it’s hard work. You can spend three days shooting and editing for long hours, and then spend a whole week apparently doing nothing but sleep and eat and attend meetings, but you're actually thinking about the next episode you’re doing.
